Missing You: A Loss & Grief Retreat for Body, Mind, & Spirit
Menucha Retreat & Conference Center
Corbett, Oregon
When someone in our life dies, our world can turn upside down.
In this weekend retreat, you will be guided on a spiritual unfolding as you explore various ways to express and process your love and grief, body, mind, and spirit. You will have opportunities for personal reflection, group discussion, creative expression, time in nature, and heart-centered connections. All activities and discussions will be facilitated in a compassionate and inclusive space where you will be invited to participate in the ways that are most meaningful to you – whether that be through talking, listening, silence – or whatever feels right for you in the moment. Together we will create space for remembrance to be welcomed in all ways.
Getting to the heart of our loss requires courage, commitment, and community. Using a L.E.A.D. approach, this grief support group will journey together as we explore loss through education, activities, and discussion. By joining one another in our journey, light can be found in the darkness.
The Grief Support Group is for any adult who is seeking support after someone in their life has died.
Dr. Monique Julewynn, a grief and loss expert, will guide the group on its journey. Monique has extensive experience with teaching, guiding, and facilitating individuals and groups as they navigate experiences of loss and grief. She looks forward to joining you on this journey.
Sessions (1.5 hours) are held weekly for a total of 6 weeks. Groups are limited to 6-8 people.
